Pink Amethyst is a more recently discovered crystal (from Argentina), and carries with it the rarity of such. While Purple Amethyst will have you high up and connected to the cosmos, Pink has a more grounding energy, to keep things on an Earth-bound level. Pink Amethyst is a healer, womb-warmer, comforter, and emotional balancer. And not only is this stone a stress reliever, but it is also a neutralizer of anxiety. It is said that even those who experience debilitating, chronic angst have seen and felt improvement after long term use. This stone assists the user in feeling less overwhelmed to stay calm and collected. It will often neutralize the energetic charge of the situation at hand and bring love into the picture. Pink Amethyst works with the Heart Chakra, The Third Eye Chakra, and The Crown Chakra. It is particularly instrumental in opening up the heart after it has been deeply wounded, either through grief or trauma. Unlike its purple counterpart, Pink Amethyst is not a self-cleansing stone.
