CHAKRA ENERGY: Chakras are the concentrated energy centers of the body. Chakra is a Sanskrit term and it means “wheel” or “disk” and is derived from the root word “cakra”. Chakras are spinning wheels of energy/light. Chakras have the loving responsibility of taking in, incorporating, and emanating energy to keep us functioning at optimal levels. Each Chakra correlates to an energy center, which encompasses the entire body and Auric field. *And each Chakra has a coordinating color!* Starting at the top of the head, you have the Crown Chakra (Violet/Violet-white) located around the crown of your head. The Third Eye Chakra (Indigo) is located in between the physical eyes in the forehead area. Moving down you get to the Throat Chakra (Blue) in the throat center, and then the Heart Chakra (Green) in the chest vicinity. The Solar Plexus Chakra (Yellow) comes next and is in the upper abdomen area. And after that, the Sacral Chakra (Orange), located in the lower abdomen area, and the Root/Base Chakra (Red) which is the closest to the Earth, at the base of the spine.
